The Jefferson Elks and Does partnered to provide Christmas dinners for about 225 area residents on Christmas Day. The menu included turkey with all the trimmings. Does provided the turkeys and pumpkin pies, while the Elks took care of the rest.
Many people ate at the Elks lodge and enjoyed bingo after dinner. Carry-out meals were also available.
This is the 49th year the Elks have hosted a free Christmas dinner as a service to the community.
