Greene County district court, week ending Oct. 4

In Greene County district court Logan Eric Warland, 29, of Fort Dodge was sentenced to two five-year prison terms after he changed his plea to guilty to burglary- third degree and one count of criminal mischief- second degree. The prison terms are consecutive, but concurrent to any other sentences. Warland was fined $750 with a $262.50 surcharge on each count. The fines and surcharges were suspended, but he must pay a $125 Law Enforcement Initiative surcharge on each count and $622.32 court costs. One count of criminal mischief- second degree was dismissed. (Sentencing: Honorable Joseph B. McCarville)

Persons pleaded not guilty at arraignments as follows: Daryn Joseph Mallory, 54, of Jefferson, operating while intoxicated- second offense; and Sheral Louise Coppick, 61, of Carroll, OWI- second offense. Trial dates were set for Nov. 5 in both cases.

A case was initiated against Bruce K. Binkley, 58, of Jefferson on a charge of OWI- first offense.
