Greene County district court, week ending Feb. 22

In Greene County district court Jesse Lynn Crawford, 31, of Scranton was sentenced Feb. 21 to five years in prison after he pleaded guilty to a charge of burglary- third degree. The prison term was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He must undergo a substance abuse evaluation and complete any recommended treatment at his own expense. Crawford was fined $750 with a $262.50 surcharge; both were suspended. The judge ruled he is unable to pay restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees. He must pay a $125 Law Enforcement Initiative (LEI) surcharge and $912.52 court costs. Crawford was initially charged with assault while participating in a felony (two counts), willful injury, burglary- first degree and harassment- first degree. (Sentencing: Honorable Joseph B. Christopher David Spaulding, 50, of Jefferson was sentenced to five years in prison after he pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of methamphetamine, amended from possession of marijuana- third or subsequent offense. The prison term was suspended and he was placed on probation for three years. He must undergo a substance abuse evaluation and complete any recommended treatment at his own expense. Spaulding was fined $750 with a $262.50 surcharge; both were suspended. The judge ruled he is unable to pay restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees. He must pay a $125 LEI surcharge, a $10 surcharge for drug abuse resistance education (DARE) and $723.17 court costs. His driver’s license was revoked for 180 days. (Sentencing: McCarville)

Jodi Ann Ganoe, 43, of Ogden was granted a deferred judgment after she changed he plea to guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana. She was placed on informal probation for one year. She must undergo a substance abuse evaluation and complete any recommended treatment at her own expense. She must pay a $315 civil penalty and $100 court costs. (Sentencing: McCarville)

Robert Allen Lindahl, 38, of Perry was granted a deferred judgment after he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was placed on informal probation for one year. He must undergo a substance abuse evaluation and complete any recommended treatment at his own expense. He must pay a $315 civil penalty, a $125 LEI surcharge and $183.18 court costs. Kelsey Marie Badding, 36, of Carroll was granted a deferred judgment after she changed her plea to guilty to a charge of operating while intoxicated- first offense. She was placed on informal probation for one year. She must undergo a substance evaluation and complete any recommended treatment at her own expense. She must also complete a community college drinking driver’s school. She must pay a civil penalty of $1,250; half the penalty will be waived if she obtains a temporary restricted license. Rose Anna Lehrkamp of Jefferson was sentenced to two years in prison after she pleaded guilty to a charge of gambling- false statement on application. The prison term was suspended and she was placed on informal probation for one year. She was fined $625 with a $218.75 surcharge. Court costs were $200. (Sentencing: McCarville)

Christopher Adelbert Laurent, 48, of Jefferson was sentenced to two days in jail after he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of driving while license revoked. He was fined $1,000 with a $350 surcharge. Court costs were $100. (Sentencing: McCarville)

Carter Eugene Fetters, 26, of Jefferson was sentenced to two days in jail after he pleaded guilty at arraignment to a charge of possession of marijuana- second offense. The jail term was suspended and he was placed on unsupervised probation for one year. His driver’s license for 180 days. Fetters was fined $315 with a $110.25 surcharge, a $10 DARE surcharge and a $125 LEI surcharge. Court costs were $100. (Sentencing: McCarville)

Persons pleaded not guilty at arraignment as follows: Larry Dean Bush, 53, of Churdan, child endangerment causing bodily injury; Jody Lyn Schad, 42, of Jefferson, driving while license barred; Zachery Allen Waters, 21, of Grand Junction, operate vehicle without owner’s consent; and Bradley Allen Conklin, 35, of Jefferson, driving while license barred and possession of marijuana- third offense. Triad dates were set for April 3 in every case.

Information is available since the return of an arrest warrant that Bradley Keith Langfitt, 47, of Dana has been charged with possession of methamphetamine- first offense. The warrant was issued 8/04/17 and returned 2/22.

Cases were initiated in district court as follows: Shane Christopher Jewett, 41, of Paton, domestic abuse assault impeding air/blood flow; Jackie D. Cram, 23, of Jefferson, driving while license barred; and Jody Lyn Schad, 42, of Jefferson, domestic abuse assault causing injury or mental illness.
