Ram v’ball loses three to Nevada

The Ram varsity volleyball team lost three games to the Nevada Cubs in Nevada Tuesday by scores of 18-25, 13-25, 11-25.

Coach Donna Carhill said, “We started the match serving strong and playing aggressive offense. We even got ahead four points at the halfway mark in the first game. Nevada proved to be too much offensively and won that game. We continued to serve aggressively and consistently run our offense, and make adjustments defensively. Nevada played great defense and we just couldn’t seek to keep up with their offense.”

Samantha Hardaway and Sophia Havens both served eight for eight and had one ace each. Chantel Flack also served at eight for eight.

Megan Durbin had eight kills and nine digs. Hardaway had three kills and eight digs. Aubrey Heupel had 12 assists.
