Greene County magistrate court, week ending May 4

A case was initiated in magistrate court during the week ending May 4 against Ricky Eugene Comer of Grand Junction on a charge of trespass.

Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Justin Duane Smith of Lohrville and Tauwana Rae Laue of Grand Junction, failure to provide proof of financial liability, $250; Alexis Grace Eischeid of Scranton, speed, $20; Mary Margaret Backes of Ames, speed, $40; Michelle Lynn Higgins of Grand Junction, failure to wear/maintain safety belt, $50; and April Janeen Hopkins of Rippey, operate non-registered vehicle, $50.

The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.

Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.
