Danielson sixth in state, earns First Team honors

Greene County junior Rachael Danielson played in her second straight Class 4A State Golf Tournament May 23-24. Danielson is the first female in 55 years of girls’ high school golf in Jefferson to play in two State tournaments. Rams top field in girls golf at Perry

In a very tight meet, the Ram varsity girls golf team picked up three wins at Perry Monday. Coach Heath Telleen said it was “a great night,” and noted that Ellie Madson and Emily Heupel shot personal best rounds. Greene County tallied 209, Perry had 210, Dallas Center-Grimes had 211 and Winterset shot 229.
