In its debut season the Greene County boys soccer team is rated 14th in Class 1A in the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association’s rankings. The Rams are 4-0 on the season and have outscored their opponents 26-4. That includes a 2-1 win over 2A Ballard (Huxley) Thursday in Grand Junction.

The Ram girls golf team opened the season Thursday, hosting Perry and Des Moines Christian at The Hill in Grand Junction. The temperature was 48 degrees when the meet started. Des Moines Christian won the meet with 192, followed by Perry at 199 and the Rams at 203.
