Information is available since the return of an arrest warrant that John Brinkley, 52, of Jefferson was charged in Greene County district court with theft-fourth degree. In Greene County district court Carleton James Tapley, 22, of Jefferson was sentenced to two years in prison after he pleaded guilty to a charge of theft-third degree, amended from theft-second degree.
