Jefferson police officers conducted a special Traffic Enforcement Project (sTEP) May 18-31. During that time, officer wrote 14 citations and issued 133 warnings. The following citations were issued: speed, six; driving without a license, two; driving with a suspended or revoked license, one; seatbelt violation, one; equipment violation, one; and other traffic violations, three.

Greene County sheriff’s deputies were busy during the most recent special Traffic Enforcement Project (sTEP) May 18-31. During that time, deputies responded to nine property damage accidents and one personal injury accident. They also answered nine calls for motorist assists or driving complaints and served two arrest warrants.
