Intermediate 4-H members visit Minneapolis

A group of ten Greene County youngsters attended the Region 12 4-H Intermediate Bus Trip to Minneapolis on Friday, April 4 through Sunday, April 6.  The trip for intermediate 4-H members (seventh and eighth grades) was jointly planned by the six county Extension offices in Region 12, including Greene, Audubon, Carroll, Crawford, Guthrie, and Shelby counties.

The weather was nearly perfect for outdoor Easter egg hunts Saturday. About 150 youngsters turned out for the hunt co-hosted by the Jefferson park and recreation department and the Jefferson Kiwanis Club at the Greene County Community Center.
