During the early weeks of February, students from Greene County Elementary, Intermediate, and Middle Schools “jumped all over” heart disease and stroke by participating in the annual Jump Rope/Hoops for Heart fundraiser. Volunteer students from second through eighth grades participated in this year’s event, raising $12,776 for the American Heart Association.

Greenbrier 4-H Club: On Monday, March 14, the Greenbrier 4-H Club held its monthly meeting at the Greene County Extension office. Presentations were given by Justin Stream on baseball, Emma Halterman on horse jumps, Noble Hoyt with “How to Modify the Nerf Maverick”, Wade Wuebker on the meaning of the 4-H pledge, and Brock Wuebker on Iowa trivia.
