Animal Protection and Education (A.P.E.) launched a fund drive last week for a permanent location for its low-cost spay and neuter clinic. A.P.E. was founded in 2003 as a 501(c) non-profit organization. It operates the only non-profit mobile trap-neuter-return (TNR) service in Iowa.
