Genealogical Society to meet Saturday
The Greene County Genealogical Society will meet Saturday, Dec. 1, at 10 am in the meeting room of the Jefferson public library. The room is handicapped accessible. Animal Protection and Education (A.P.E.) launched a fund drive last week for a permanent location for its low-cost spay and neuter clinic. A.P.E. was founded in 2003 as a 501(c) non-profit organization. It operates the only non-profit mobile trap-neuter-return (TNR) service in Iowa.
