Fundraising for the 2022 Grand Junction Fun Day kicks off this Saturday, Jan. 22. The committee will host a soup supper, bake sale and bingo from 5 to 7 pm at the Grand Junction Community Center. There is a $5 charge for the soup supper. Children 5 and younger eat free. Delivery is available by calling Jen Wilson at 515-729-3027.

Chili cook-off at Rippey library Jan. 22
The Rippey library will host a chili cook-off Saturday, Jan. 22, from 11 am to 1 pm. Entries into the cook-off should be at the library by 10:45. Chili and cinnamon rolls, along with a beverage, will be served for a free will donation. “Come have a yummy lunch and sample some fantastic chili,” a library spokesperson said.
