Community blood drive in Jefferson May 13

LifeServe Blood Center  will conduct a community blood drive Tuesday, May 13, from 12:30 to 5:30 pm at the Greene County Community Center in Jefferson. LifeServe staff reminds area residents that as the temperature rises and summer nears, local hospital patients still rely on generous, volunteer blood donors to make life-saving donations even in the midst of enjoying all that summer has to offer.

New H/C units to be installed at the Community Center

New heating/cooling units will be installed at the Greene County Community Center Monday and Tuesday. The current units for the fitness area and the aerobics/massage rooms will be disconnected late Monday afternoon.
