Scranton city hall moved to Community Center
The Scranton city hall is now officially in a new location. Since last week, city clerk Melinda Hinners has occupied the office in the northeast corner of the Community Center (the former Scranton school building). Officially the address is 900 Eagle St.

Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson is doing a benefit collection for Brently Oliver Walker this month. Brently, the infant son of former TLC member Michael Walker and his wife Cassie of Vesta, MN, died of a congenital heart defect last April. “Bo” was hospitalized for seven days. The collection will help the Walker family pay uncovered medical expenses.
