VFW tells local essay contest winners
Winners at Greene County Middle School in the Patriot’s Pen essay contest, sponsored locally by VFW Post 9599, have been announced. Andrea Grundon (left) won first place. According to volunteer weather observer John Beltz, the average high temperature was 51.6 degrees and the average low temperature was 32.6 degrees.
