The Greene County High School music department will host the Iowa High School Music Association state jazz choir festival Monday, Feb. 8. The first group goes on stage at 5:40 pm. Each group will perform, be judged, and given a short clinic on the high school auditorium stage.

According to volunteer weather observer John Beltz, Jefferson received 2.0 inches of snow, while 7.5 inches is normal for January.
