Sheriff’s deputy Christopher Frehse was introduced at the county supervisors’ meeting Monday. Frehse was born in Storm Lake and grew up in Humboldt. He is an Army veteran and holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Iowa State University. He has already begun his training with the sheriff’s office and will attend the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy next fall.
