Sixth graders from Coon Rapids-Bayard, Paton-Churdan, and Greene County schools congregated at Squirrel Hollow Park  May 17 to learn about nature and conservation. Chuck and Virginia Radke taught music lessons, primarily piano, in their Grand Junction home for 30 years. They’re now living at Regency Park Nursing and Rehab Center in Jefferson. A former student of Chuck, Gabrielle (Stier) Anderson, a member of the East Greene class of 1999, visited them recently and is now hoping to arrange an appreciation reception for them.
