Genealogical Society to meet Aug. 4
The regular meeting of the Greene County Genealogical Society will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, at 10 am in the basement meeting room of the Jefferson public library. The Scranton bus service to the Jefferson swimming pool began running last week and will continue through Aug. 16. The bus picks up youngsters at 12:45 pm each Tuesday and Thursday. They return to Scranton about 4:30 pm. Riders should be at the bus stop at the Scranton Community Center no later than 12:30 to assure transportation.
