In Greene County magistrate court Michelle Lynn Higgins of Rippey was sentenced Oct. 22 to 10 days in jail, with credit for time served, after she pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct- fighting/violent behavior, amended from domestic abuse assault. The jail time was suspended and she was placed on informal probation to the Greene County attorney’s office for one year. She was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge. She was also fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge on a charge of interference with official acts. Court costs were $91.50.
A case was initiated against Joseph Edward Blackmon of Jefferson on a charge of violation of a no contact order.
