Pam Davis, Grand Junction resident, will discuss her two new books Sunday, July 26, at 2 pm in the Grand Junction public library.
Set Sail on a Dream, a children’s book, is the tale of two young girls who drift into a tropical dreamland filled with colorful birds, playful animals, and glowing sea creatures. The book is illustrated by Tim Read of Ames.
Where Shadows Meet Sunlight is book of poetry that also features Davis’s photography. “The poems are heartfelt and personal,” says Davis, “and I wrote those to help others who may be feeling lost.”
Davis will discuss how over the years she has written poetry and prose but never shared them publicly. Last year she made the decision to publish her work.
Both Set Sail on a Dream and Where Shadows Meet Sunlight are available for purchase through Amazon. Both books can be purchased at the author talk, and Davis will be available to autograph them.
