The Greene County farmers market season begins Tuesday, June 9, in the commercial building at the Greene County fairgrounds in Jefferson. Hours are 4 pm to 6:30 pm.
The Greene County Cattlemen Association will grill burgers that evening.
Farmers market vendors will accept benefits in the WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program.
