In Greene County district court disposition was entered March 12 in a case against Alex Garron Treft, 34, of Grand Junction on a charge of driving while license barred. The charge was amended driving without a valid driver’s license and he was fined $260 with a $39 surcharge. Court costs were $100. (Sentencing: Honorable Joseph B. McCarville)
Persons pleaded not guilty to charges as follows: Karen Lenore Gillman, 61, of Scranton, theft- first degree; Shelby Hose, 18, of Jefferson, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance; Michael Bradley Hart, 45, of Churdan, operating while intoxicated- second offense; and Kyle Evan Habrich of Boone, 37, of Boone, possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana. Trial dates were set for April 7 for Gillman and Hose, and for May 22 for Hart and Habrich.
Information is available with the service of an arrest warrant that Alicia Anne Marie Ofelt, 38, of Van Meter is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana. The warrant was issued Jan. 28 and served March 11.
Cases were initiated in district court as follows: Kyle Evan Habrich, 37, of Boone, operating while intoxicated; and Steven Caleb Jensen, 29, of Rippey, domestic abuse assault impeding flow of blood/air.
