In Greene County magistrate court Robert William Hobbs of Churdan was sentenced Feb. 14 to seven days in jail on a charge of assault with intent to cause pain/injury. The jail term was suspended and he was placed on probation to Boone/Greene County Probation for one year. He was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge. Court costs were $112.25.
Damon David Zimpel of Scranton was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge on a charge of public intoxication. Court costs were $60.
