Owner of Public House in downtown Jefferson has been awarded a $5,000 Jefferson Wants You incentive grant to support the launch of their new restaurant. The business, owned by Amanda and Addi Bills, is one of the recent recipients of the program, which is designed to help attract and support new businesses in the community.
The Jefferson Wants You incentive program assists entrepreneurs with one-time start-up costs and is a project of the economic vitality team of Jefferson Matters. The program is made possible through partnerships with Jefferson Telecom, Home State Bank, Peoples Bank, Heartland Bank, and an annual grant award from Grow Greene County Gaming.

The Public House will be Jefferson’s newest bar and restaurant on the downtown square, creating an additional destination for dining and social connection in the community. Updates and opening announcements will be shared on The Public House’s Facebook page as the Bills prepare to open to the public.
