In Greene County district court Robert Alan Fry, 62, of Jefferson was fined $250 with a $37.50 surcharge after he pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, amended from driving while license revoked. He must also pay $250 restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees and $140 court costs. (Sentencing: Honorable Joseph B. McCarville)
Daniel William Hamous, 50, of Carroll was granted a deferred judgment after he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of possession of cocaine. He was placed on probation to Boone/Greene County Probation for one year, and he must follow all recommendations of a substance abuse evaluation. A judgment was entered for a $430 civil penalty and $100 court costs. (Sentencing: McCarville)

Donatlan, 26, of Aurora, IL, possession of marijuana- second offense; Dawn Kay Maiers, 43, of Ames, ongoing criminal conduct, unauthorized use of credit card more than $1,500 but less than $10,000- 74 counts, and dependent adult abuse- 16 counts; Wylie James Zeller, 22, of Hailey, ID, operating while intoxicated; Dambra Knowles, 63, of Jefferson, animal neglect w/ injury; Terry James Groesbeck, 45, of Eagle Grove, operating while intoxicated and possession of marijuana- second offense; Ryan Michael Patrick Oclair, 28, of Luther, domestic abuse assault- injury or mental illness, and harassment- first degree; Colton James Tate, 30, of Ames, operating while intoxicated; and Tamra Mills, 45, of Rippey, possession of a controlled substance- third of subsequent offense, two counts, failure to affix drug stamp, two counts, and controlled substance violation. Trial dates were set for Jan. 27 for every defendant except Maiers. A trial date was set for Maiers for Feb. 16.
