Greene County High School is pleased to announce the sixth class to enter the Greene County Athletic Hall of Fame.
The honorees will be recognized Friday, Jan. 16, 2026, at the Greene County vs Grand View Christian basketball game. The introductions will take place at approximately 6:30 pm during halftime of the girls game.
There will be a community reception for the honorees Saturday, Jan. 17, from 6 to 6:30 pm in the high school commons. A short program will be presented at 6:30 pm in the high school auditorium.
The Class of 2026 includes: Bob Allen, Class of 1998, football; Jeremy Thompson, Class of 1998, baseball; and Junior Gutierres, Class of 2020, soccer; 1989 Class 2A Girls Shuttle Hurdle Relay Champions Cathy (Proctor) Busch, Lana (Drake) McDonald, Christie Burnell, and Kristi (Kinne) Hayes; and 1994 Class 2A Girls 4×100 Relay Champions Allison Drewry, Deisha (Goshon) Reynolds, Brandy (Meinecke) Peterson, and Missy (Wolterman) Walker.
