in Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered Oct. 13 against Melissa Sue Dopheide of Breda on a charge of assault- simple, amended from assault- contact insulting or offensive. She was sentenced to 30 days jail with credit for time served. The sentenced is concurrent to a sentence in district court. A charge of abusive epithets/threatening gesture was dismissed. No court costs were entered in the case.
Todd Edward Geisler of Jefferson was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge on a charge of disorderly conduct. Court costs were $60.
Cases were initiated in magistrate court as follows: Alicia Anne Marie Ofelt of Van Meter, disorderly conduct- loud raucous noise, and an identical charge entered in a second case; and Anthony Lee Arbuckle of Cooper, disorderly conduct- fighting/violent behavior.
