To mark September as National Mushroom Month, the Jefferson Public Library is hosting a free program, “More than Morels: Let’s talk wild mushrooms”, Tuesday, Sept. 30, from 5:30 to 7 pm. The program will be held at Greene County Community Center in the north meeting room.
Presenter will be Jacob Fernholz, Greene County Conservation naturalist. Ronda Kendall will share foraging tips and recipes. All are welcome.
