Greene County High School musical receives major donation from Beta Tau Delta
Beta Tau Delta, supporting programs for youth in Greene County for more than 100 years, is a major sponsor of this season’s Greene County High School musical, Disney’s Little Mermaid.
Sorority president Teresa Green-Hoodjer (left) presented a check for $1,500 to Greene County High School vocal music teacher, David Heupel.
In accepting the donation, Heupel said the show requires a number of backdrops, so the money will be used to produce several of them and replenish the make-up kits that get used for every show. President Green-Hoodjer said the donation was made possible as the result of a successful fundraising campaign by the sorority late last year of area residents and businesses. Donations are always welcomed and may be sent to Treasurer Anita Van Horn, 102 East State Street, Jefferson, Iowa 50129.
