There are so many unusual and illegal things popping out of the Oval Office and into the news cycle, it’s a problem which ones to mention:
No FAA leader yet, although when someone told the eager beaver in office, he quickly appointed somebody – after the awful crash into the Potomac of a government helicopter and an American airliner. Was he owed because he gave money for coronation parties? We know he wasn’t appointed because he knew anything about running the FAA.
The firing of FBI agents and supervisors, along with the top prosecutors in the Dept. of Justice, who worked on the documents case and the insurrection case of the Capitol building rioters on Jan 6, 2021; and a list of all FBI agents just to see if they were involved in the lawful actions in either of the two above cases? This means that we will not have an independent law enforcement but an agency that answers not to the laws of our country but to a president, who happens to be a criminal.
The story of the president afraid to go to the site of the Potomac crash because it’s in water, and he doesn’t want to get in the water; and then before any reasons for the crash have yet to be determined by experts, blaming the accident on DEI (diversity, equality and inclusion) laws, which he believes means hiring Blacks which means “ espousing hateful ideology” (MSNBC 1-31-25) are both worthy of ridicule. The irony of this disseminator of hate blaming DEI for a plane crash is not amusing but cruel. Not to forget his statement on Yahoo News of Jan. 30 that “We don’t care what race they are [speaking of air traffic employees]. We want the most competent people, especially in those positions.” And then we look at the candidates he’s chosen for his cabinet and really do have to laugh.
Notices from the White House marking Black History Month while the new secretary of defense Pete Hegseth declares “Identity Months dead.” Is this the leader of the free world trying to make the White House look good while his agencies are denying 13.7 percent of the U.S. population? [U.S. Census Bureau] Not his fault, MAGA customers.
Will another executive order wipe out Women’s History Month, Holocaust Days of Remembrance, Women’s Equality Day, National American Indian Heritage Month, Poetry Month?

A bit of history: another male is inaugurated as president of the U.S. He does not put his hand on the Bible when he swears fidelity to the Constitution. This is the first time I’ve seen him not lie. He is not a Christian. If you recall, he holds a Bible upside down for the Press to see that he can’t read, especially the Christian Bible. When he finally gets to the desk in the Oval Office that has been used by so many real Presidents, he says . . . taking a binder and looking inside it, “It’s ridiculous. We are the only country in the world that does this with the birthright, as you know, and it’s just absolutely ridiculous.” (Raleigh North Carolina News, 1-24-25)
This is one of hundreds of binders of Executive demands he has to sign because he promised MAGA that he would: Did he not know that birthright has been a Constitutional law since 1867?
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law, nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. (U.S.Constitution, Amendment XIV, Section 1)
It clearly means that all babies born of immigrants in this country, legal or otherwise, will be citizens regardless of their parents’ immigration status. Trump’s demand, which seeks to end the practice for children whose parents are in the country illegally or temporarily, is expected to undergo a long court fight — it will not undo birthright citizenship on its own, as in a president telling us another lie.
And the other lie within this particular executive demand is when he said that we are the only country who has a birthright citizenship law.
There are 30 countries in the world that have it, according to the Library of Congress.
Liar, liar, pants on fire. (I’m surprised he has any pants left.)
