The public is invited to a “Church Christmas Tour” on Sunday, Dec. 7.
Five Jefferson churches will be open that day from 1 to 4 pm, culminating with a holiday concert by the Town and Country Band at 4 pm in the Central Christian sanctuary. Each beautifully decorated church will be open for “come and go” self-guided tours and refreshments.
The participating congregations are First Baptist Church at 104 W Central Ave; First Presbyterian Church at 208 W. State; Central Christian Church at 106 N Elm St; First United Methodist Church at 307 S. Wilson Ave; and Christ Lutheran Church at 1201 S. Elm St.
This event is free to the public.
