Jefferson Telecom wraps up school supply drive

Jefferson Telecom proudly concludes its participation in the annual school supply drive organized by New Opportunities, Inc., marking the 13th year of this impactful community initiative. As a dedicated drop-off location, Jefferson Telecom played a key role in collecting donations from both customers and staff, contributing significantly to the drive’s success.

This year’s drive, fully organized and managed by Teresa Lansman from New Opportunities, provided 210 students with backpacks filled with all the necessary school supplies—an increase from last year’s 180 children. The drive’s success underscores the growing need within the community and the vital role local organizations and residents play in addressing these needs.

As the 2024-2025 school year starts, Jefferson Telecom expresses its gratitude to everyone who contributed to this year’s drive. The generosity of the community has made a difference in the lives of 210 students, setting them on a path toward academic success.
