Greene County magistrate court, week ending May 17

In Greene County magistrate court Christopher Craig Edwards of Maple River Junction was sentenced to two days in jail after he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of assault with intent to cause pain or injury. The jail time is concurrent to sentences in two other Greene County cases. Edwards was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge. Cout costs were $96.70.

Daniel L. Rosenow of Jefferson was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge after he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct- fighting/violent behavior. The fine and surcharge were suspended. He was sentenced to five days in jail, concurrent to a jail term in a district court case. Rosenow must pay an amount not to exceed $375 restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees and $120 court costs. A charge of public intoxication was dismissed.

Cases were initiated in magistrate court as follows: Cynthia Sue Baugh of Jefferson, assault; Merissa Shawnay Olson of Jefferson, theft- fifth degree; Roger Keith Ketchum Jr of State Center, domestic abuse assault and interference with official acts; and Angela Maureen Bailey of Jefferson, domestic abuse assault.
