The livestock barns and the show rings were lively places at the Greene County Fair last week as 180 Greene County 4-H members exhibits from the various project areas they’ve spent the last several months learning about.

The swine show was Thursday, July 10. Jake Berns showed the grand champion individual market hog and Kenna Marquardt’s swine placed first, second and third in rate of gain. The beef show was Saturday, July 12. Abi Henderson showed the grand champion breeding heifer, the grand champion cow/calf pair, and the grand champion market steer. Abby Badger showed the grand champion market heifer. Zach Burbank showed the grand champion bucket calf. Wyatt Klocksiem’s steer won the rate of gain judging.
