Still accepting donations
The Salvation Army service unit in Greene County announced that it has raised $6,719.80 towards its goal of $7,000 for the year. People can still donate to help reach that goal by dropping off a donation at Home State Bank in Jefferson anytime.
Ninety percent of the money received in Greene County will be spent in Greene County to help families and individuals needing assistance with essential human needs.
