Ram boys win home cross country meet

The Ram boys cross country team won the Greene County Cross Country Invitational held Saturday on the middle school grounds. Three of the first four finishers were Rams, with Noah Hinote in first with a time of 19:34 for the 5K distance. Brady Carstensen was third in 19:48 and Gavyn Winters was fourth in 19:58. Other Rams’ places and times were Carter Hinote,10th, 20:07; `Kolby Angell, 11th, 21:14; Jaden Koller, 21st, 23:04; Eli Carstensen, 23rd, 23:19; Blaise Schilling, 25th, 23:44; Maddox Carstensen, 32nd, 26:18; Raymond Bauer, 34th, 26:42; and Dexter Ritter, 37th, 31:56.

Team scores were Greene County 29, IKM-Manning 42, Southeast Valley 53, and West Central Valley 109.

The Ram girls did not have enough runners for a team score. Ava Minnihan was the first Ram across the finish line in fifth place with a time of 25:20, followed by Becca Anderson in sixth place with a time of 25:40. Evelyn Snyder was 16th in 29:22 and Leah McCormick was 22nd in 36:03. The girls also run 5K.

Team scores were IKM- Manning 26, West Central Valley 3 , and Southeast Valley 57.
