Greene County sheriff Jack Williams reports that Robert Paullin, 76, of Paton died Sept. 6 as a result of an accident involving a bean sprayer.
The Greene County sheriff’s office, Iowa State Patrol, Paton fire, Webster County sheriff’s office and Greene County Ambulance responded to the accident at 7:37 pm. Paullin was operating a three-wheeled bean sprayer in the 100 block of N. Main St in Paton when it rolled on a slight hill, pinning Paullin underneath. Paullin died as a result of his injuries.
