Katherine Parker, a United Methodist missionary to Nepal, will share a program for all who are interested on Thursday, Sept. 7, at 7 pm at the Rippey United Methodist Church, sponsored by the Rippey Lions Club.
Parker serves with the United Ministry of Nepal, an ecumenical group, which was founded in 1954. Her mission includes community transformation, education, health for girls and women, peacebuilding, and sustainable livelihoods. Her PowerPoint® presentation will provide a glimpse into this remote area of the world, the people and those who work with and for them.
Parker will conclude the program with time for questions and answers.
