Jefferson public works director Dave Morlan alerts all area residents that W. Lincoln Way from Elm St to Grimmell Rd will be closed next week for long-awaited resurfacing.
Those seven blocks will be closed from Monday, July 17, at 6:30 am to Friday, July 21, at 6 pm. Residents of the blocks involved should plan to park their vehicles in the alley or on side streets Sunday evening, as work will begin Monday at 6:30. Driveways will not be accessible for the duration of the project.
Area residents should plan their travel routes accordingly. W. State St and W. Harrison St will be open.
