Historical Society makes local history available at the fair

Fair, Historical SocietyThe Greene County Historical Society invites all fair-goers at the Greene County Fair to visit the Society’s fairgrounds annex near the north entrance to the fairgrounds. The annex will be open Friday from noon to 6 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm. A wide variety of exhibits are displayed there including farm equipment with a barn exhibit, household items, and even an authentic pioneer log cabin moved to the annex from Grant Township. Society members will be available to answer questions.

The Minnehan School, a one-room country school moved in from Bristol Township, will be open during the same hours with school marm Marilynn Hoskinson in period clothing.
