Sharon Ann Bertha Natzel Boyers was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt throughout her 72 years of life.  Sharon passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023, peacefully surrounded by family at New Homestead in Guthrie Center.  She was born November 26, 1950, in Manning to Vernon and LaVerne (Hinricksen) Natzel.

Sharon graduated in 1970 from Jefferson Community High School in Jefferson.  She married Anthony Musgrove in Shelton, WA, on Dec. 22, 1975.  This union was blessed with their son, Thomas Andrew.  Thereafter, Sharon relocated to Columbus, OH. Sharon continued living in Columbus until moving back to her home state in 2021. During her life, she had worked in nursing homes caring for the elderly, doing housework and cleaning, and interestingly – worked at a resort near Denali National Park in Alaska.

There are few people who you can truly declare lived their life for others and genuinely enjoyed doing so. In her life, Sharon had openly shared her tenderness for all of God’s creatures. She was recognized for her incredible gift of helping others through sweet and fond gestures. Notably, to represent her kind soul, Sharon was a caregiver for her father in his final months before his passing. There was nothing that Sharon cherished more than family. Sharon enjoyed the time occupied with her son and grandchildren in Alaska, such as embarking on adventures like camping, sightseeing, and traveling with her family.

Sharon is survived by her son Thomas A. Musgrove (Alina Swank), and stepdaughter, Jamie Musgrove-Jones; grandchildren Sierra Musgrove and Ryan Musgrove; brother Howard Natzel (Lori Whiton Damron); sisters Carol (Jerry) Schultz, and Beverly (Marvin) Stern; nieces Kari Buck, Lisa Bennett, Alisha Bruns, and Marissa Natzel; and nephews Erik Schocker and Quinton Natzel.  Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sandra Lee.

Memorials in Sharon Natzel Boyers’s honor should be directed to her family, or left at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home, Jefferson.
