Greene County Community Foundation invites you

The Greene County Community Foundation (GCCF) was established in January 2005 to serve and enhance the quality of life in Greene County.

For the past 17 years a few individuals on the board have printed, stuffed, handwritten, or labeled 500 plus donation letters each year.  The letters have invited our fellow Greene County community members to join the GCCF in showing their pride in the eight wonderful communities we have here in Greene County by making a donation during our annual fund drive. The donation monies received during the annual drive go into the GCCF endowment fund. The GCCF is able to withdraw up to 5 percent of the total amount of money in the endowment each year to fund projects.  With proceeds from the endowment and the support of Grow Greene County, the GCCF was able to give approximately $208,000 back to our communities.

Just take a look around Greene County this past year; the county has seen a lot of wonderful improvements such as solar panels for the Action Resource Center (ARC), extrication equipment for Grand Junction Fire Department, sunshades at the Bell Tower Festival, projects at all libraries in the county and much, more.  It is proof that when community members come together, we can make a HUGE difference. With the help of your donation, we will be able to continue helping local non-profit organizations fund projects and improvements around Greene County that we all can enjoy.

The GCCF invites you to be part of making Greene County better.  For more information please visit our website at https://forgreenecounty.org .  Letters will be going out soon so watch your mailbox or stop by Home State Bank to make a donation and ask to be added to our future mailing list.
