Greene County sheriff Jack Williams, Jefferson police chief Mark Clouse, and Greene County attorney Thomas Laehn will discuss why they think Greene County needs a new jail at a Community Conversation Thursday, Sept. 1, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson.
Social time and snacks will begin at 5 pm, with the program at 5:30. There will be time for questions and answers.
