The Greene County boys track team saw three meets and competed in two events at the Drake Relays last week, with strong showings at each venue.
On April 26, the boys traveled to Woodward for the 2022 Hawk Relays. The Rams tied for second. First place finishes came from Jesse Miller in discus, Bryce Stalder in long jump, Jackson Morton in the 110 meter hurdles, and Logan Woodruff in the 3200 meter run. The 4×100 meter relay and 4×400 meter relay each placed first as well.
Shot put – Brock Hannan, 39’ 10”, fourth.
Discus – Jesse Miller, 136’ 6”, first; Noble Hoyt, 111’ 3”, sixth.
High jump – Nathan Black, 5’ 10”, second. Lane Fields, 5’ 8”, third.

Thursday took the Rams to Roland-Story, where the boys finished seventh. Top Ram finishers were the 4×200 meter relay team in second, Lane Fields taking third in high jump, Bryce Stalder finishing third in the 100 meter dash, and the 4×800 meter relay team placing third.

For the last team event of the week, the Rams traveled to Gilbert, where they finished third. The 4×100 meter relay team and 440 shuttle hurdle relay team each took first at the meet.
