Riding bicycles is now a regular part of Greene County elementary physical education classes.
BOOST and the Jefferson Telecom Charitable Trust recently partnered with the school district to purchase 25 bicycles. All students learn not only to ride bikes, but also the rules for safe biking.
Teacher Sean Thompson also does units on roller skating and archery, along with encouraging walking as a healthy activity.
