JM:MS & CC plans Community Appreciation Night for March 22

Will include presentation of the ABC Award

Jefferson Matters: A Main Street & Chamber Community invites the public to the second annual Community Appreciation Night to be held Tuesday, March 22 at the Greene County High School auditorium. Appetizers will be served by the Ram Restaurant culinary arts students at 6:30 pm, followed by the program at 7 pm.

The focus of the program is to showcase the progress of the community along with the presentation of the ABC (Above and Beyond the Call) Award.

Jamie Daubendiek, president of JM:MS&CC will provide a brief update on recent success of the group. Guest speakers will include Chuck Offenburger of the Diversity project steering committee; Peg Raney, Why Not Us board member; Jacque Andrew, Greene County Early Learning Center board member; and Mike Palmer, Jefferson city administrator.

At the completion of the program, 2020 recipient of the ABC Award, will present the 2021 award.

A reception with dessert will follow the program in the school commons area.

The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are asked to park in the south parking lot and enter the building through the south entrance.
