WISCONSIN HOLIDAY – Dale and Nancy Hananan traveled to Eau Claire, WI, to celebrate Christmas with Matthew and Heather Hanaman. Their daughter, Sarah, and family and others joined them on Dec. 26.
Nancy and Dale drove to Superior to celebrate Sarah’s birthday with her family. Eight inches of snow fell overnight, so there were white days after Christmas.
After arriving back in Iowa, Nancy and Dale also visited with their niece, Sydney Bardurian and family in Des Moines.
HOLIDAY LUNCHEON – Toni Roberts of Perry was treated to lunch at Hotel Pattee on Thursday, Dec. 30, by her granddaughters, Lindsay Rinehart and her son, Bentley, of Bettendorf, and Cassie Bardole of Rippey. This was Lindsay’s Christmas gift to her grandmother.
After Lindsay and Bentley left, Cassie took her grandmother home where they enjoyed rum cake for dessert and more visiting. Toni reported it was an enjoyable and wonderful day.
Visitors in the home of Virgene Morse on Dec. 24 were her daughter and son-in law, Diane and Terry Ostendorf of Madrid. The daughters of Terry and Diane, Machaela and Sam Van De Berg and son Fisher also of Madrid, and Madelyn Ostendorf of Ames were also in attendance. Six-month-old Fisher was not lacking any attention!
